Job Description/Responsibility

  • The client
  • Our client is a leading supplier of custom transport equipment. They specialise in the manufacture and supply of trailer, tanker and rigid truck bodies to customers in medium & heavy freight, agriculture, construction and mining industries. Operating nationally they have full capability to design, manufacture and supply of bespoke trailers to customers across WA. Orders can range from individual trailers to complete fleet supply. Due to planned growth they currently require a sales representative to join them from their Kewdale based offices.
  • The Role
  • Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing an already existing pipeline of sales whilst developing sales and marketing initiatives to ensure growth within new and established customer network.

Skills Requirements

  • he successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
  • Experience within a similar role, preferably with detailed exposure in WA's transport industry
  • Knowledge of  trailers and trailer regulations is essential
  • Technical knowledge of trailers/trailer manufacture
  • Strong sales experience with ability to convert business
  • Proven track record in converting B2B sales and bringing in new business
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to grow existing client base
  • Knowledge of Sales Force CRM advantageous
  • Engineering/Fabrication background advantageous
  • In Return
  • In return a base salary between $80,000 and $90,000 is offered, though more may be negotiated for exceptional candidates, along with a car allowance and fuel card, superannuation and a generous, uncapped commission structure that will see an achievable OTE exceed $150,000.
  • The role will involve travel across your region when required and occasional travel oversees. This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake role with a well established global business at a period of growth.
