Job Description/Responsibility

  • Two roles available covering either Pilbara/Goldfields
  • The Client

    Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture of mill linings and wear products for the resources industry. Operating globally, they have a good reputation in WA and offer an array of reputable products. In line with planned growth expansion in Australia they require two area sales managers to join them from their already established Perth Office.

  • Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing sales and marketing initiatives to ensure growth within new and established customer network. Based from Perth you will oversee a geographical area covering the either the Pilbara or Goldfields region.

     

    The role will encompass:

    • Business Development - Source and convert new business
    • Account management - looking after and liaising with existing clients to ensure they are getting the best service and to develop more business in that area
    • Customer Service & Planning - Track orders and be point of contact for clients as equipment is being manufactured and delivered.

Skills Requirements

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
  • Sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets and increase revenue
  • Experience converting business within mining and fixed plant
  • Knowledge of the Pilbara/Goldfields resources markets
  • Ability to work autonomously and implement successful sales strategies 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Mechanical/Mining Degree or diploma advantageous
  • Full driving licence  
  • In Return
  • In return a base salary circa $90,000 is offered, though more may be negotiated for exceptional candidates, along with fully maintained dual cab Ute, superannuation and a generous, uncapped commission structure that starts from the first dollar. 
  • The role will involve travel across your region (approx. 50% Perth, 50% travel) This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake role with a well established global business at a period of growth
