  • This Northern Territory Government (NTG) agency plays an integral role in the generation of electricity and is a key contributor to the sustainability and development of the Northern Territory.     On behalf of the agency, Beilby is currently seeking suitably experienced candidates for a Learning and Development professional, based onsite at Channel Island. Reporting into the General Manager of Safety and People, the role is initially being offered as a 6-month, fixed-term position with the opportunity to extend for the right candidate. In this role, you will responsible for the effective delivery of all training services across the agency in addition to, providing expert training consultation to management and internal stakeholders.

Skills Requirements

  • To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a similar Training and Development role, preferably in the utilities industry or across a blue-collar environment
  • The proven ability to effectively develop, implement and evaluate training programs with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Extensive knowledge of learning and development principals and how to apply the practices in organisational contexts
  • Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to engage in varying stakeholder relationships
  • Sound knowledge of computerised data-base systems, public sector procurement processes and budgetary practices.
