Job Description/Responsibility

A contract opportunity has become available for a Human Resources Manager who comes with Generalist experience. The role is based in the West Rand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with management on the identification of specific HR deliveries that are aligned to the broader HR strategy
  • Facilitate and ensure the implementation of these deliveries
  • Develop and facilitate interventions supporting transformation
  • Support the roll out and bedding down of various HR Practices (i.e. performance management, succession planning, HR Governance)
  • Advise management on employee relations including compliance with grievance and disciplinary procedures, labour legislation and Main Agreement
  • Representing the company at CCMA / Bargaining Council
  • Ensuring that Employment Equity and BBBEE processes are in place
  • Adhere to Employment Equity targets as defined by the organization
  • Ensure legislative compliance with OHSA
  • Form part of the safety committee meetings
  • Ensure findings are actioned off and closed off
  • Verify compliance to safety, health and environmental requirements in the workplace
  • Monthly HR reports, management reports and divisional HR reports
  • Resourcing, selection and recruitment
  • Union and shop steward relationship building
