Job Description/Responsibility

As a member of Santander’s retail banking division you’ll help serve Santander’s retail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in the United States based on deposits.  With principal presence in the northeast U.S., Santander’s retail division offers consumer and lending products to help our customers reach their financial goals.  Santander currently serves nearly 2 million retail customers and 5.2% of the 2.7 million small businesses in the US footprint have a transactional account with Santander Bank.

Responsible for monitoring various aspects of operational processes, including Business Resumption, to ensure the existence and effectiveness of controls, maximize process efficiencies and define operational requirements relative to strategic and business initiatives. Functions as a knowledgeable representative of the operation to the business units.Operations Analyst II differs from Operations Analyst I in terms of level of knowledge and years of experience required to achieve objectives.

  • Responds to customer requests for assistance.
  • Proactively and/or when directed researches problems and recommend solutions for correction/improvement.
  • Participates as part of a team on projects focusing on supported operational processes.
  • Provides moderate level of qualitative and analytical support for operational processes and supported technologies.

Experience Requirements

  • Between 1 and 3 Years banking operations experience or 3-5 years general operations experience.
  • Between 1 - 3 years of professional experience

Education Requirements

  • Position related much education.
