Job Description/Responsibility

    Our client is a global leader, innovative in nature, matched by a long history of delivering the highest quality mineral product in their field. They are currently seeking to appoint a Production Manager to join their high performing management team.

    A residential position based in one of Western Australia’s most attractive coastal towns known for its history and water leisure activities this is an opportunity to make the sea change you have always dreamed of. As the Production Manager your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute production plans, ensuring quality standards are met, managing work in progress and ensuring maintenance plans are executed. You will play a hands on role in managing the full end-to-end production cycle from raw product to customer.
  • Further responsibilities include:
    • Manage the mineral processing operations, including quality control
    • Carry out production scheduling and manage bulk handling
    • Oversee logistical operations including packaging, dispatch, trucking and shipping coordination
    • Determine appropriate capital expenditure projects and ensure timely completion within budgeted/approved limits
    • Participate in annual and ongoing budgeting and forecasting processes and manage monthly site expenditure
    • Management of all dry plant production personnel including dry plant, laboratory, maintenance & technical staff.

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years in a leadership/management role, ideally in a modern production/manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years in a leadership/management role, ideally in a modern production/manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a production facility, delivering production and projects on time and on budget
  • High level computer literacy
  • Understanding and experience with basic financial reporting
  • An ability to build rapport and influence
