Job Description/Responsibility


Our client's Integrated Solutions Team is looking to secure a Business Development Manager to acquire new payments business from clients and partners through the sale of their client-facing technology solutions.



Overview of Targets:

  • New Revenue $250K per annum
  • Number of New Partners to be implemented - 3+ per quarter, 15 a year
  • Pipeline - approx 10-15 qualified and moving through the sales process each quarter should see you overachieve targets.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong consultative sales skills and an autonomous proactive approach to sales
  • Circa 8 years experience selling technology solutions
  • The ability to engage and influence the C suite of stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CTOs,CIOs)
  • Experience in delivering solutions as a team, managing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to meet both Partner and Customer expectations
  • Knowledge of business, accounting processes (and systems) and ERP / business software
  • A base level understanding of web-based API solutions (JSON / XML) would be a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written) and the ability to influence with an executive presence
  • High Organization, verbal and visual presentation skills with commercial acumen and an ability to problem solve

Skills Requirements

  • Identify and go after new payment business opportunities (prospecting, market analysis and networking)
  • Qualify, develop and sell payment solution opportunities to new clients & retention of existing clients direct and through partners
  • Scope, assess feasibility and manage technology partnership opportunities
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and KPI targets set for the Integrated Partnerships team
  • Present and demonstrate technology solutions to clients
  • Develop and present proposals where appropriate
  • Map existing business workflows and payment processes through clients ERP / business software systems to identify problems that can be addressed and efficiencies that can be delivered through the implementation of our clients integrated payment solution
  • Work with Head of Payment Solutions & Integrated Partnerships (APAC) to implement the strategy for the region
  • Become proficient in our clients sales process, tools, pipeline and CRM taking ownership of updating and managing pipeline and revenue forecasts
  • With assistance from the the "heads" support the implementation of projects and service delivery requirements & Implement account management plans for Partners post warranty
  • Work with sales and functional stakeholders to resolve issues, support the application and on-boarding process for new customers

Compensation/Benefits

  • Base $120K with quarterly bonus of $15K (guaranteed for first 2 months) + super
