Job Description/Responsibility

  • The Position:
  • International SOS currently has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to work offshore on an oil rig within Australian waters northwest of Western Australia. 
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high level medical support to our client, including primary health and emergency care services. This is a 1 year FIFO contract position; working 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotations, commencing in mid-September 2017. 
  • This position would suit a strong clinician with previous experience working in an offshore environment, and is passionate about providing excellent healthcare services.

Skills Requirements

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Nurse
  • Minimum of 3 years' post graduate general nursing experience, and 1 year Offshore experience preferably within the oil and gas industry
  • Current BOSIET
  • Current ALS Level 2 or NZ ALS as defined by Ambulance Service Sector Standard 8156 and NZ National 
  • Current MSIC and Drug & Alcohol Testing Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • HUET and UKOOA Medical (is advantageous)
  • Australian or New Zealand residence with full working rights
