- This high profile Queensland Government Department is looking for an experienced Administration Officer / Business Support Officer joining their team at the AO3 level for a short term contract, commencing ASAP!
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing general administrative to a friendly team within the Procurement and Property Services, You can expect your day to be busy and full of variety. Specific duties include the following types of activities:
- Electronic mailbox and database management
- Lodgement of service requests with suppliers
- Communication/liaison activities via email and phone to seek information from clients and suppliers and provide updates to stakeholders

- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar roles, preferably within a Government Department.
- Ability to learn quickly standard processes, procedures and operation of a simple job tracking system based on a Microsoft Access database
- Have if possible worked in a maintenance team type environment (database management) and has basic technical knowledge
- Experienced within procurement/contracts administration will be highly regarded
- Have experience and capacity to operate well Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software
- Be flexible in approach including being happy to complete ad hoc administrative tasks that aren’t always on the job spec!
- Must be available to start as early as Monday 11/2/2019!
