Job Description/Responsibility

  • Our client are a multi - national shipping group with a growing fleet of product and chemical tankers. Our client is looking for a young hungry Business Operations Analyst to join the business development department based in Central London. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for an individual to be part of a dynamic, fast paced and rapidly growing multi-national group.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Project management
  • Wide and varied role - happy to take on a wide range of tasks
  • Modelling and presenting business cases
  • Developing process and overseeing completion of deliverables
  • Ensuring all processes are following in line with Company procedures
  • Exposure to senior management

Education Requirements

  • Degree educated
  • Preferably Business Management, Business Information Systems, Finance or an Economics degree.

Skills Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of how to create procedures and processes in small/growing companies
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high demanding environment
  • Motivated by a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Basic modelling and development of business cases
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Interfacing/managing across departments/conflict resolution/develop good professional working relationships
  • Other soft skills - self-starter, pro-active, energy/drive, open minded, flexible, can work independently
  • Strong commercial acumen and apply commercial judgement
  • Problem solving and ability to work creatively
  • Working across multiple projects including collecting, understanding financial/non financial and qualitative information and making use of
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent document preparation and presentation skills and lead conference calls, internally and externally
  • Organised
  • Attention to detail but with focus on the 'big picture’
