Job Description/Responsibility

  • We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for a well-known woman's luxury fashion brand based in Hammersmith for a 3-month contract.
  • This role is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a growing luxury fashion brand and get hands-on with assisting the Logistics Manager with importing and exporting goods, according to the specific requirements of each category.
  • Responsibilities:
  • - Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange collections from manufacturers and delivery of stock to warehouse
  • - Ensure stock accurately booked into company operating system
  • - Check stock availability against customer orders
  • - Prioritise customer deliveries with warehouse
  • - Liaise with the warehouses to ensure all orders are prepared and shipped on time
  • - Produce all shipping documentation including EDI
  • - Manage customer returns and resolution
  • - Coordinate inventory flows for direct to customer channels
  • - Update customers on order progress
  • - Support the logistical flow for seasonal fashion shows, events and special projects
  • - Update and maintain warehouse stock holding
  • - Investigate, resolve and process inventory discrepancies
  • - Support exit of excess inventory through samples sales

  • Positive proactive approach and a willingness to learn
  • - Experience in Logistics within the fashion industry, warehousing and shipping
  • - Good understanding of shipping paperwork and international customs requirements, documentation, tax and duties
  • - Strong networking, interpersonal and communication skills
  • - Excellent organisation and team working skills
  • - Experience with EDI preferred but not essential
  • - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
