Job Description/Responsibility

  • BMI Healthcare are Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. 
  • We have an opportunity for an Administrator to join their team of staff in the Infrastructure department based in either BMI Blackheath Hospital, London or BMI Sloane Hospital, Beckenham.
  • This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. 
  • Duties of this role include:

    • Administrative support to the BMI Infrastructure Team, allowing the team to work efficiently in the delivery of the capital plan.
    • General administrative support:
    • Assist the Head of Infrastructure in management of department
    • Assist the Infrastructure Project Management Office lead in delivery of required outputs
    • Assist the Project Mangers in delivery of required outputs
    • Diary Management
    • Ownership of the department filing system
    • Assist with the collation of reports
    • Assist with the management of Microsoft Teams / PM software
    • Meeting minutes
    • Processing and tracking of purchase orders
    • Formatting  of documents

Skills Requirements

  • Good IT/keyboard skills, proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
  • Minimum of GSCE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Data input experience required
  • Excellent telephone communication manner
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated high level of organisation & time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities
