Job Description/Responsibility

  • General accounting and bookkeeping to Balance sheet
  • General Ledger
  • Reconciliation of Bank Accounts -Trust and Business
  • Cashbooks
  • Management of debtors and creditors – payment and reconciliation of accounts
  • Cheques, receipts, internet payments and processing thereof
  • Investments – A78(2A)
  • Journals
  • Petty Cash
  • Cash flow
  • Preparing of management reports
  • Credit notes
  • Processing and reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts
  • Payroll
  • E-filing: - SARS returns – VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL
  • General Administrative duties (i.e. filing, faxing and copying)

Skills Requirements

  • Newly Qualified CA if no Legal Bookkeeping  experience
  • At least 10 to 15 years experience required as a Senior Legal Bookkeeper if no qualification
