Job Description/Responsibility

  • Introduction
    A reputable financial services organisation has an opportunity for an individual who can cope with pressure and setbacks. The purpose of the role is to manage a team of Instructional Designers who develop training materials for the sales force on all products and financial planning according to high quality standards.
    • All work must be done accurately, comprehensively and to an acceptable quality.
    • Plan and implement annual project plans.
    • Plan and project manage all projects effectively.
    • Manage each Instructional Designers project timelines to ensure that projects are delivered on time within planned deadlines.
    • Review quality of all work produced by the Instructional Designers to ensure that Instructional Design principles are followed and quality standards are met.
    • Maintain and evaluate KPI's.
    • Consult with stakeholders across business areas in order to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
    • Consult with business areas to agree on reasonable and achievable deadlines.
    • Continuously evaluate both Instructional Designers and the effectiveness of face-to-face and online training material.
    • Design and develop training material when required.
    • Constantly research new methodologies in the learning and development industry and implement within the team.

Experience Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 years Instructional Design Team Leader experience.

Education Requirements

  • N/A

Skills Requirements

  • ETDP qualification.
  • Must have at least 3 years Instructional Design Team Leader experience.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry.
  • Financial planning experience.
  • Financial planning related qualification.
  • Business related degree.
