Job Description/Responsibility

  • Introduction
    A leading financial services organisation has a vacancy for an individual with good understanding of the tax implications in holistic financial planning. The purpose of the role is to execute on the National Financial Well-being Channel strategy and drive a sales and service distribution network that efficiently and effectively delivers all retail products to national customers and target market.
  • Description
    • Drive profitable sales and service of all retail products through Financial Well-being sales and service channel.
    • Manage corporate sales effectiveness, practice management and group strategy initiatives nationally for Financial Well-being.
    • Ensure delivery of outcomes required from Financial Well-being Consultants in line with the Customer Access Strategy.
    • Achieve an excellent, consistent customer experience across channel and implement a culture of serve to sell while team is selling and servicing in line with customer satisfaction index and net promoter score benchmarking.
    • Appropriately skill and adequately resource the provincial Financial Well-being team.
    • Manage overall staff engagement and performance.
    • Ensure the daily outcomes are aligned to an integrated sales and service distribution channel capabilities such as people, culture, standards and processes.
    • Monitor and assist in the reduction of branch E and O's, through training, information sharing and mentoring.
    • Monitor and ensure that house views and Advice Frameworks are adhered to and implemented.
    • Monitor that fee reductions are managed in line with national business guidelines.
    • Monitor lost business and trends to support business retention and assist advisors when necessary.
    • Ensure that client relationships are maintained and developed.
    • Maintain, update and report on lead management process.
    • Deliver and protect existing business and lead cross-selling of all retail products.
    • Collate provincial specific and national retail Financial Well-being information and compile relevant reports to respective stakeholders.
    • Effectively represent the Financial Well-being distribution with internal and external stakeholders in specific province in conjunction with the PE.
    • Ensure daily effective risk management and governance of the Financial Well-being distribution area, including compliance standards and all necessary regulatory reporting to the PE.
    • Manage oversight of the sales and service activities, including the performance of compliance function, specifically with respect to FAIS and supervision requirements as well as the product categories for which FSP are licensed, and represent the province during compliance monitoring visits.

  • Postgraduate in Financial Planning.
  • Honours Degree.
  • RE certificate.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Good understanding of the Financial Services industry including service providers and the retail market.
  • Good understanding of legislation and regulations governing investment markets (local and Offshore).
