Job Description/Responsibility

  • Elevation Recruitment Group are working closely with our client based in the Chesterfield area to recruit a Junior Procurement Business Partner to join their already successful team.

    The purpose of this role is to enhance and protect the profession by providing an unbiased approach, liaising and collaborating with all levels of stakeholders whilst maintaining high standards of integrity, full compliance with laws and regulations in procurement practice and the eradication of unethical business practices using structured sourcing and scoring mechanisms coupled with robust, transparent and fair policies & procedures.

    Role responsibilities:

    oAssisting the Business Partner with Key Stakeholder meetings
    oActively involved in achieving qualitative and quantitative improvements within Procurement and Think Business programme to achieve business synergies and optimised ways of working
    oOrder validation, approval, placement & expedition
    oBuild and maintain supplier relationships
    oScheduled review meetings
    oMonthly reporting
    oABC Analysis and subsequent proposed achievable savings
    oScheduled stakeholder review meetings relevant to risk/spend
    oSupplier audit feedback
    oIdentification and management of operational business changes alongside the Business Partner
    oPeriodic reviews and communication

  • *Strong stakeholder / relationship management experience
    *Good commercial awareness and professional approach
    *Strong organisational skills - able to plan, prioritise and execute methodically

    *Must have the ability to execute tactically with some awareness / curiosity of the bigger picture
    *Own and drive Procurement process and adherence - with a drive for Continuous Improvement
    *'Can Do' attitude with a commitment to seeing things through to delivery
    *Highly flexible to the needs of the team and wider organisation
    *A minimum diploma qualification in Procurement & Supply (CIPS - level 4)
