Position: Legal Officer

Job Responsibilties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis for commercial negotiations
  • Producing timely, commercial and accurate legal advice
  • Conducting periodic assessment of the department’s operations to ensure they are in line with internal and external regulations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies necessary for minimizing risk of non-compliance
  • Evaluating various risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
  • Drafting agreements, contracts and other legal documents

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree of Law (LLB)
  • Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in the related field
  • Understanding of infrastructure project such as road, bridge, terminal, powerplant (especially under PPP model)
  • Understanding of project financing
  • Ability to carry out the Due diligence and evaluate the legal risk factors of projects
  • Familiarity with the company registration process and relevant Government offices
  • Sound knowledge of laws related to PPP
  • Excellent knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: BDT 40,000 - BDT 80,000
