Position: Investment Manager

Job Responsibilties:

The Investment Officer role is to execute project transactions and identify opportunities to ensure the effective development and increased number of bankable projects in Bangladesh.

  • Planning and directing all aspects of the company’s investment programs
  • Collecting investment information and opportunity across all the infrastructure sectors, including power, port, transportation sector.
  • Evaluate potential new investments and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and prepare materials and investment proposals and presentations.
  • Working with the consultant conducting financial, tax and legal due diligence for the potential investment project.
  • Work with CHEC head office team and proceed the project financial closure.
  • Assist senior staff in business negotiation.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor degree or above in Economics or Finance
  • At least 5 years’ experience in finance, or infrastructural investment field.
  • Sound knowledge about the investment policy, approval process and procedures of the Government of Bangladesh
  • Proficient in financial data calculation and financial modeling.
  • General understanding of infrastructure project such as road, bridge, terminal, power plant (especially under PPP model)
  • Ability to analyze the feasibility and risk of the project (especially the PPP project)
  • Understanding of the project financing.
  • Basic knowledge of tax policy, especially about PPP and other incentive
  • Must have the capacity to collect and analyze market information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and diligently
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Dhaka

Salary Range: BDT 50,000 - BDT 100,000
