Manager, Communication and Material Development, IDP

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Understand and ensure the brand image of all relevant stakeholders following the communication agreement of the Jibika project
  • Lead to prepare communication strategy for the stakeholders and prepare content and report for different national and international stakeholders as per requirement of the project
  • Lead to develop the IEC/BCC communication materials and proper initiatives for dissemination
  • Coordinate to ensure public media presence and engagement and update projects website time to time
  • Use communications tools to add value to BRAC strategy advocacy, research and network development priorities
  • Organise and coordinate events for celebrating national and international days to raise awareness in favor of highlighting programme achievements
  • Participate at different meeting , seminar, workshop and national gathering for ensuring the mandates of programme
  • Designing of Materials Printing, Case Study and local Jibika Needs
  • Coordinate IDP’s (within the frame of BRAC) communication related activities supported by its vision and missions and always maintain the relationship with BRAC communications and disseminate information on program erelared activities
  • Strengthen and maintain BRAC’s brand values, compliance issues and guidelines for disseminations on every tiers and issues with consistently
  • Manage, consolidate and regularly update the web content for IDP with support from BRAC central communications
  • Produce quarterly newsletter and reports as and when required

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in Development Studies/ Mass communication/ Journalism/ English from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent CGPA in all academic examinations. No third class/ division or below CGPA 2.00 is acceptable

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Excellent writing ability to create content, elevator pitch, blogs, case stories, news coverage, press release
  • Have expertise on develop IEC/BCC communication materials
  • Have expertise on using designing software like Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, in-design, etc.
  • Have experience in publication, media engagement and linkage building with networks

Age Range: Maximum 40 years

Salary Range: Negotiable
