Position: Deputy Manager, Finance and Accounts

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Review the Monthly Accounts of Tuberculosis Program funded by the GFATM) & also review the quarterly Accounts for preparing Donor Financial Report
  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts and submit it to Senior Management with in a time frame and also prepare yearly/ half yearly consolidated Accounts of PR-BRAC and partner NGOs’ for various Audit (Internal /External)
  • Prepare cash requisition and submit to GFATM quarterly
  • Disburse the fund to the Partner NGOs’ timely after receiving the fund from donor
  • Review the Cash Book and Bank ledger monthly of PR BRAC & review the 28 partner NGOs’ cash requisition quarterly for fund disbursement to them
  • Prepare consolidated financial report of PR-BRAC and Partner NGOs’ quarterly with in the time
  • Provide necessary documents to Local Fund Agent (LFA) for their review of various report PUDR, Fixed assets verification, Implementation Verification and Spot Checks (IVSC)) as per schedule
  • Cooperate internal, external and financial monitoring team by providing necessary information and documents as per their requirements
  • Meeting with program personnel to solve various finance and accounting related problem of the assigned projects

Educational Requirements: M.Com/ MBA major in Accounting/ Finance with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination

Experience Requirements: Minimum 02 years of relevant working experience is required

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge on Accounting, Finance, Audit, Budget, Tax / VAT
  • Have to be sincere, polite, dynamic, hard working and willing to work under pressure
  • Need to have good communication skills in both Bengali and English
  • Have knowledge on Computer Literacy

Age Range: Maximum 32 years

Salary Range: Negotiable
