JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITY:

• Execute assistance functions in a radio sales department.
• Assist radio sales staff in capturing sponsorship proposals.
• Assist radio sales in executing advertising and campaign activities.
• Assist radio sales personnel in creating and editing client video campaigns.
• Organize radio sales meetings in an effective manner.
• Persuading clients to buy advertising space or time.
• Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target market and contacting them
• Locate and contact potential clients to offer advertising services. Visit potential customers for new business.
• Explain to clients how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible. Provide customers with quotations.
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities.
• Review your own sales performance.
• Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
• Inform clients of available options for advertising art, formats, or features and provide samples
• Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts
• Manage customer databases with customers’ needs and objectives.
• Increasing amount of advertising is expected to be concentrated in digital media, including digital ads intended for cell phones, tablet-style computers, and online radio stations.
• Any Other responsibilities assigned by the Management.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

• Post-graduation/Graduation in any discipline from a reputed University.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 3-year(s) experience in relevant field or in similar position is preferable.
• Experience in the following area(s) will be an extra advantage: working for sales department in any advertising/media agency/radio station or in any media organization.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Age up to 35 year(s) for both male & female.
• At least 5 (Five) years brought up in Dhaka.
• Must possess good command in spoken & written English and Bengali.
• Should be efficient to make & maintain bilateral relationship with various media & associated organizations.
• Must be smart, energetic, confidant & self-motivated.
• Willing to work in any situation and extra hours.
• Computer literacy is must.
• A good telephone manner
• Confidence and an outgoing personality
• Diplomacy and patience.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Be good with numbers.
• Ability and desire to sell. 
• Knowledge of the Radio market, different station and program styles, and audience demographics.

SALARY RANGE:
