  Position  

Programme Coordinator, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme(Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Provide programmatic and technical guidance and inputs to develop innovative project stratrgies and implementation plan
  • Undertake overall responsibility and guide the project teams into implementation of the innovative projects
  • Prepare annual plan for fund, human resources, logistics support etc. for effective implementation of the innovative projects
  • Ensure preparation and submission of all progress reports, periodic reports, donor reports etc. of the innovative projects
  • Review monitoring and other sources of findings and learning and make necessary adjustments as required
  • Plan and ensure all the studies such as baseline , midterm, final evaluation of the innovative projects
  • Review annual performance appraisal of the staff and made necessary recommendations
  • Coordinate other BRAC programmes/ departments/ enterprises and the government counterpart for scaling up, integration and advocacy
  • Make field visits to the project intervention areas for suggesting better performance
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Gender Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of working experience in relevant field

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Have conceptual Knowledge on key gender and development in the context of
    Bangladesh
  • Have practical experience in project management and implementation of
    gender programme
  • Skills in developing reports on strategic directions
  • Excellent team player and building relationships
  Salary and benefits
