Sr. Sector Specialist, Technical Team, Agriculture and Food Security (Contractual), Humanitarian Crisis Management Project

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing the agricultural and
environmental restoration activities at Forcefully Displaced Myanmar
Nationals (FDMN) camp and host community
- Coordinating and technical support to tree distribution and plantation activities at FDMN camp and host community
- Collaborate with BRAC Seed and Agro Enterprise to promote BRAC seeds
- Timely generate requisition and distribution of tree sapling and crop varieties
- Conducting meeting and socio-economic study for situation analysis

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements: M.
Sc. in Agriculture or Relevant subject from any recognized university
with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all
academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is
acceptable
Experience Requirements: At least 4 year(s) in relevant field
Additional Job Requirements:
- Academic knowledge in Agriculture
- Working experience in a multi-cultural/ethnic/religious group
- Strong physical ability to do field work
- Understanding of organizational culture & values
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills in both English and Bengali
- Excellent team management and leadership capacity
