Manager, Communications, Community Empowerment Programme
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Develop annual communication plan for CEP
considering the needs of all CEP components and projects and ensure the
communication plan is implemented in due time
- Act as a communication focal point of CEP and maintain close communication with BRAC communications for CEP and BRAC updates
- Write, edit and update content for an extensive
range of communications materials including reports-project reports,
event reports, annual reports, case studies, press releases,
brochures, leaflets, website, blog, articles, etc.
- Manage the development, design and production of
IEC and BCC materials including brochures, handbooks, manuals, video
documentaries, newsletter, book, folder, notebook, etc. by BRAC
Communications Department or external service providers
- Maintain overall documentation of different projects/ components related activities of CEP
- Organise seminars, workshops, roundtables, conference and other events as per need of the programme
- Any other communications related activities deemed necessary for the programme

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements: Master’s
degree in Mass Communication/ English/ Sociology/ Journalism/
Development Studies/ Social Science from any recognised university with
all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all
academic examinations
Experience Requirements: At least 4 years of working experience in relevant field
Additional Job Requirements:
- Have conceptual Knowledge on information, documentation and communications
- Must have skills on content development for communication materials,
case story conduction, report writing and time management
- Have basic understating on using graphical software like Photoshop,
Illustrator and InDesign etc.
- Competent on teamwork and relation building
