Job Description/Responsibility:

  • To lead all BD for commercial/strategic and institutional partnerships in Bangladesh, and work closely with the leadership team as well as with functional leads to identify, negotiate, close, and deploy those partnerships.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to establish tactical and strategic plans and objectives.
  • Propose innovative concepts and promote new ideas.
  • Develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • To take action in deploying thousands of bikes in all major cities in Bangladesh. To close all commercially viable partnerships with major tech/consumer-facing companies and institutions across the nation. Goal here is to strike partnerships that either help us get a city launched or to grow our ridership.
  • To develop partnership model across country and implement. Working on channel partner as well by recruiting new partner on board across country/ global.
  • Build the strategy and own the success of the department by meeting/exceeding targets for growth through partnerships.
  • You will be equally responsible with Product Engineering and Operations for the implementation of those deals – managing each partnership and integration as a liaison between Jobike and the partners. For that you need to also have a solid technical understanding which will allow you to set right expectations and manage timelines.
  • To conducti C-level negotiations – many of which are purely commercial, yet also others that entail potential co-investments. For that you will be working with the HQ-based strategy team to identify such opportunities.
  • Lead Sales team to achieve target on sales across country.
  • The main goal is helping Jobike become Bangladesh’s number one bike-sharing company that is
  • A brand and product that is loved by the users,
  • A service that is valued by the local authorities, and
  • A business that other companies/ local players wish to collaborate with.

Skills Requirements:

  • Prior corporate development experience a plus.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding high-volume sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years Business Development experience
