Position |
|
Field Coordinator, Civil Construction (Project), Skills Development Programme
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Lead to set up SEIP civil construction projects
training lab, effective and efficient coordination of this projects and
thrive for continuous improvement of training processes
- Monitor to ensure lessons, lectures, and tutorials using teaching methods and develop CBLM according to CBT&A standard
- Ensure proper inventory management is taking place in all the training sites under SEIP project
- Responsible for providing information to the concern
department of Head Office regarding forecast of purchase of consumable
and training materials, placement of requisitions through ERP
- Ensure 100% compliance for training as per standard
fixed by SEIP and excellent management & coordination of hostels for
residential students under these projects
- Facilitate learning by the selection and development
of materials and methods appropriate to trainee needs, and course level
according to CBT&A standard
- Ensure proper training feedback mechanism is
established and feedback from students and external invigilators is
implemented in the training system
- Ensure proper coordination to maintain accurate and
appropriate records, registers and timetables, and make these available
on demand to administration and external agencies
- Lead the coordination of all the SEIP training sites
in student enrolment, counseling with job placement and induction of
students, other administrative and promotional tasks as required by
management to support courses
- Coordinate marketing activities (ATL/BTL/TTL) in
SEIP funded training sites and report to higher management. Participate
in the big events physically for flawless execution
- Coordinate job placement activities, coordinate to
provide monthly industry visit report and job placement report to higher
management & participate physically in Job fairs taking place in
different SEIP funded sites for best output and report to higher
management
- Ensure coordination to establish the agreed policies for health & safety, and equal opportunities
- Adhere to guidelines of the institute including
those relating to equal opportunities, health & safety, initial
student testing, learning difficulties, disciplinary procedures and
guidelines for using the learning centre
- Provide monthly separate reports to management for
the individual training sites reflecting progress, areas of improvement,
budget allocation/ relocation etc.
- Contribute to ensure proper management of the SEIP
funded projects through Maintain filing, documentation, reporting
systems, database, M&E and MIS
- Coordinate necessary market surveys in the targeted
areas under the jurisdiction of the SEIP project to admit required
number of students and demand for potential trades for a specific reason
- Coordinate to make partnership with relevant
Industry Associations in order to ensure proper job placement and
marketing activities
- Continuous liaison with SEIP office to explore
funding for future projects funded by SEIP by utilizing many unused
potential sites of BRAC located all across the country

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Masters in any discipline or B.Sc in Civil
engineering from any recognised university/ institution with all 2nd
division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at a national level TVET
institute is required. For non-engineering graduates, 08 years’
experience in Govt. funded skills project is needed
Additional Job Requirements:
- Have strong Knowledge on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
- Demonstrated experience to implement the relevant national policies,
programmes or projects in the Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector
- Able to build network with public and private sector
- Familiar with TVET related curricula development
- Have excellent training facilitation skill
- Proven staff management skill
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have knowledge on private sector in employment support service
