Specialist, Hygiene Promotion (Contractual), WASH; Humanitarian Crisis Management Project

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Develop hygiene promotion program with consultation with WASH partners and Hygiene promotion technical working group
  
• Design KAP survey & other hygiene promotion monitoring tools and make them functional
  
• Design feedback mechanism and ensure hygiene promotion team using the tool correctly
  
• Draft hygiene promotion section in WASH proposals through provision of the clear write-up
  
• Lead hygiene promotion implementation through setup clear task at the field
  
• Forecast the resource required under hygiene promotion
  
• Measure impact level outcomes of BRAC hygiene promotion and recommend the solutions
  
• Assign clear tasks to different team and manage hygiene promotion personnel
  
• Communicate with WASH specialists in issues related to the hygiene promotion and provide feedback to them with clear action points
  
• Work closely with funding agencies in related to hygiene promotion and take necessary actions for recommendations or feedback from the agencies.
  
• Work closely with health programme of BRAC and provide inputs of water related disease and findings from surveys or assessments
  
• Participate in camp level meeting, provide clear feedback and take corrective actions
  
• Ensure all the reporting line are maintained in quality and timely manners
  
• Prepare assessment and surveys report regularly
  
• Develop the action plans for whole trainings.
  
• Perform other duties for the benefit of the beneficiaries and BRAC in maintain with HCMP core values

Educational Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor degree in any discipline from any reputed university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable

Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Hygiene/ WASH or of any other relevant sectors is required

Additional Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of AWD
  
• Good knowledge of water and sanitation issues and hygiene practice
  
• Good communication skill in English
  
• Sound knowledge of MS Office package
  
• Teamwork spirit and community mobilization skills
  
• Problem solving skills

Age Range: At most 40 year(s)
