Specialist, Knowledge Management (Contractual), WASH; Humanitarian Crisis Management Project

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Draft project proposal, sector reports, bulletins, newsletters and support team lead in finalizing the fund raising process
  
• Work with communications department to prepare videos and success stories for the WASH sector of BRAC and share the reports within BRAC on timely basis
  
• Compile and map all the grants information and track WASH department reporting timeline
  
• Visualize the reports and targets at both Cox’s Bazar and field offices
  
• Work with quality assurance team to make all the document archived
  
• Visualize the funding and gap situation of the sector clearly
  
• Conduct need assessment through leading the team and prepare assessment report with clear needs identification
  
• Maintain backup plan and ensure all WASH staff have proper documentation
  
• Direct the program assistant to ensure program document are kept in proper way and maintain quality communication with admin and support function of BRAC
  
• Conduct program review planning and assist the Team Lead to have the information in place for the best decision making process
  
• Work closely with funding agencies in issues related to knowledge management and take necessary actions for recommendations or feedback from the agencies
  
• Participate in camp level meeting and provide clear feedback and take corrective actions

Educational Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor degree in any discipline from any reputed university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable

Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in WASH or of any other relevant field is required

Additional Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of AWD
  
• Good knowledge of water and sanitation issues, and hygiene practice.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
  
• Sound knowledge of MS Office package
  
• Good command on report writing/ preparing concept note
  
• Community mobilization skills
  
• Problem solving skills.
