Position: Fire Safety Officer

Job Description/ Responsibility:

  • Vast Knowledge about Local Fire Act & International Law i.e: Accord, Alliance Standard
  • Able to handle Fire Safety matters individually.
  • Ability to guide the team for installation of Fire Equipment
  • He has to train / mentor workers & staff on Fire Training
  • Able to all documentation of Fire Fighting, rescue team etc related matter as per Compliance requirements.
  • Conduct training on basic fire fighting techniques (Both theoretical and practical) and evacuation matters.
  • Conduct regularly-scheduled safety inspections within and throughout the facility.
  • Make recommendations to address unsafe conditions or unsafe practices and, with approval, initiate corrective action. Re-inspect as required to observe ongoing compliance.
  • Control the introduction and use of hazardous chemicals in all departments.
  • Responsible for the facility's safety budget in terms fire safety equipments requirements.
  • To conduct Fire Drill.
  • Responsible for All the Fire Safety & Factory Safety Issue.
  • Will perform on emergency need if and where necessary.
  • Any other assignment given by the management time to time.

Skills Requirements:

  • Age 25 to 32 years
  • Ability to.
  • Knowledge of Compliance, EHS theory and practice, behavioral Sciences,
  • Strong communication (presentation & content) & interpersonal skills.
  • Inter-personal Communication/ Flexibility/ Change Management
  • Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct
  • Sweater Industry, Garments, Group of Companies
  • Good Leadership quality

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduation from any reputed university (Certification Course from Bangladesh fire Service & Civil Defense will get preference)

Experience Requirements: 2 to 3 year(s)

Salary Range: Negotiable
