Job Context

SAWAB (Social Agency for Welfare and Advancement in Bangladesh) is a Non-government Organization. Serving humanity is at the heart of SAWAB’s existence. With this great commitment SAWAB has been working as an NGO in Bangladesh since 1995 with varied programs such as education, poverty reduction, health, emergency situations and awareness building programs. It maintains an integrated approach where both material and ethical aspirations are accommodated. Till date SAWAB has provided services to more than half a million people in Bangladesh. It has partnerships with 200 community based organizations (CBOs); these CBOs help SAWAB to implement its programs effectively. SAWAB has also enhanced capacity of the partnering CBOs through varied capacity building interventions. This partnership represents special ability of SAWAB that it can reach any part of the communities across the country. Apart from development interventions and charities, SAWAB is striving to promote tolerance and caring attitude in the society since it strongly believes that tolerance is essential to build a harmonious society where all people will have fair opportunity and choices.

Job Responsibilities

  • He will be the responsible person after the Chairman Sir.
  • Annual budget planning and setting up target based on poultry industry.
  • He will responsible for planning, developing, updating and implementing different policies and procedures of the company for the smooth operation in a corporate environment.
  • He will develop initiatives to nurture a positive working environment through close monitoring, counseling and bridging management employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and discipline & performance issues.
  • He will coordinate the development of annual business plans to accomplish short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Any other task assigned by the Chairman Sir from time to time.

Educational Requirements

  • MBA/Masters in any subject preferably in Management

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 10 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 45 years
  • At least 5 to 10 Years in NGO's/ Relevant field.
  • He is expected to have proven track record on field operation.
  • He has experienced to organizing, mobilizing, capacity building, supervising, connect & influence with the grass root people organizations/community based organization. Especially on land and human rights issues.
  • Excellent skill of field level representation with key stakeholders and co-ordination with other GO/ NGOs.
  • Ability to supervising about 100 staff members for program implementing.
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as in team be flexible in challenging situation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fluency in English spoken and writing along with computer proficiency are other pre-requisites and able to pick up the problematic ideas from among the rural poor and contribute to achieve the Economic, Social, Cultural Right (ESCR), Civil & Political rights.
  • The candidates are able to drive motor bike with valid driving license to go field visit frequently.

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • Good knowledge in Management & English
  • Also need well skill in Computer

Salary: 35000 – 50000/Per Month (Negotiable)
