Job Description:
- The candidate having exposure in
business development of shipping & logistic service in Power Plant,
Oil & Gas Field, Infrastructure development & construction
Project. Gather market intelligence and build strong working
relationship with all the internal and external stakeholders to
achieve highly customer satisfaction leading to increase in
business revenue.
- Heavy Lifting & Transportation
(Offshore & Onshore), ODC Cargo Handling, Crane/ Heavy Equipment /
Barge/ Tug Rental & Marine Operation etc.
- Communication with foreign shipping company
and visit to most of the infrastructure projects across the Country.
Leading the sourcing activities, planning the sourcing activities,
attracting and retaining qualified, listing all potential suppliers,
doing necessary research about them, negotiating ocean freight and
facilitating the overall shipping agency & logistic service
process.
- Ensure effective coordination with
shippers, shipping lines and other stakeholders. Responsible to
Voyage/Shipping Charter. Responsibility includes chartering
vessel/ship, negotiating the rate, leading all the loading and
discharging activities, following up with Shipping Agency and C&F,
Coordinating shipping, and other related tasks.
- Effective business process improvements
& implementing cost relation measures for commercial and
operational efficiency. Having Excellent Negotiation Skill, Work
Measurement, Bill Checking & Valuation with Customers & Vendors
for payment.
- The candidate having excellent knowledge on
Heavy Lifting & Haulage Plan, Work Procedure, Mythology, Contract
Agreement, export/ import documents and other documentation etc. Must
have adequate knowledge on L/C, HS code, Customs Act, Import- Export
Policy, Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for import
& export.
- Manage and maintain good relationship with
all the major stakeholders like; Banks, Export Processing Zone
Authority, Customs for Export & Import formalities,
Sub-contractors, Suppliers, Buyers and C&F Agents, and Shipping
Agents for day to day operations for smooth export, import &
delivery.
- Work closely with Operation team to effort
to offer appealing and motivated workforce, customer driven and cost
driven and cost effective logistics solution to customers and ensure
smooth and complete execution. Actively collaborate with suppliers and
purchaser on specific category demand and supply balance. Liaise with
clients, develop work scopes, schedule activities and ensure proper
work execution through the Project Management team and Sub Contractor
Group.
- Plans, estimates, negotiate staffs, direct
the work, and reconcile final billings on assigned projects. As the top
decision maker on the project, resolves any internal issues that arise
over the productive, safe management of the project.
- Having knowledge & Experience in Q-HSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment).
- Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management.
