  Position  

Technical Quality Specialist, Skills Development Programme (SDP)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct different training on Decent Work/ Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) related issues to strengthen capacity of the field staff of Skills Development Programme in both formal & informal sectors
  • Local capacity building based on trend identification & analysis in line with supporting programme to enhance quality of training and ensure decent work implementation through capacity building & support activities
  • Decent work & skills competency mapping and support in preparing different types of subject based learning materials in line with BTEB standard such as trade specific competency based Skill Log Books, technical trainer guide, etc. as per programme needs
  • Prepare various workshop/ orientation modules & conduct workshops and orientations as necessary on decent work & TVET issues
  • Prepare area wise demand for staff capacity building in decent work & TVET related issues & conduct workshop for staff in cooperation with field management
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure proper implementation of activities
  • Prepare relevant reports and documentation as required by projects and share them with field level management & supervisor
  • Maintain regular liaison with different technical institute, formal and informal sector, civil society representatives, NGOs who are working in decent work & skills development
    Ensure quality of skills training through quality inspection of the programme
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc Engineering in EEE/ CSE/ Mechanical/ Civil/ others from any reputed University with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or equivalent CGPA is acceptable

Experience Requirements:

  • Work experience in technical and vocational education and skills sector
  • BTEB trainer will get preference

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET),
  • knowledge on Decent work, Skills & Employment
  • Able to develop training materials and module, logbooks, manuals, guidelines etc.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal functions and have analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to tackle challenges constructively, and find creative ways forward
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills and the ability to communicate
    at all levels in a complex environment
  • Very good command on MS Office (particularly Word and Excel) both in Bangla
    and English typing and Power point presentation
