Position: AGM/ DGM - Finance and Accounts

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Finance and Accounting Works of operations including subsidiaries
  • Administer ERP system (SMECNet) and production of reports
  • Preparing the Project Plan and Co-ordination of annual audit
  • Monthly Reviews and ERP Reporting, Time/Expenses entries and Supervision
  • Entries of Accrued Costs into Disbursement Entry Form
  • Checking of monthly transactions of each projects of the region
  • Preparation of invoice and debtor's collection and Managing Receivables & Payables
  • Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements and monthly Management Accounts Reports
  • Maintenance and control of all financial records
  • Cash management (cash sheet, debtors, and creditors)
  • Formulation and monitoring of annual Financial Budgets and Forecasts, including reporting on variances
  • Maintaining fund position for bank accounts
  • Preparing cash flow statements for disbursement of funds
  • Control overhead and project expenses against budget
  • Identifying priority payment lists, arranging fund for payment on priority basis
  • Maintain liaison with Clients, Tax Department, Company Accounts Advisor & Auditor and deal Company tax issues
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the competent authority
  • Assist Finance Managers for accounts administration matters
  • Assist to develop various controlling system and improving existing system

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Masters in Commerce/Finance/ Accounting. ACCA/CA/ICMA is an added advantage
  • Proven work experience of at least 10 years; Experience as a Finance and Accounts Manager in Engineering Consultancy Industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and proven relationship building skills
  • Solid knowledge of best practices and familiarity with Accounting, Costing, MIS, Audit & Statutory
  • Exposure to Computerized Accounting Systems and Global Reporting with good Managerial Skills
  • Age must be below 45
  • Ability to work independently & lead a large team
