Position |
|
Officer, MIS; Urban Development Programme
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Compile and consolidate MIS data from the field and
prepare MIS reports for different components of Urban Development
Programme (UDP)
- Ensure accuracy of MIS data received from the field and take initiatives for rectification of any inaccurate data
- Analyze MIS data to identify significant trends, any
deviations in target and achievements, under or over achievements, gaps
and any other findings for improving programme/ project planning and
implementation
- Maintain communication between Head Office and Field
Offices to ensure timely MIS data collection from field according to
schedule
- Collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results,
reporting the results back to the relevant programme, identifying
patterns and trends in data sets, working alongside teams within the
programme to contribute in data driven culture, defining new data
collection and analysis processes
- Design and develop data model, questionnaire,
different forms and formats aligned with programmes log frame, M&E
matrix, as well as the organisational log frame
- Complete administration and maintenance of all data in CRM tool, JavaScript, Apex or visual force
- Actively monitor and strive to maintain high levels
of quality, accuracy, data hygiene and process consistency within the
salesforce system
- Manage and visualize different types of data

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s preferably in Computer Science or any other
relevant subject from any recognised university/ institutions with
minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic
examinations
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field
Additional Job Requirements:
- Have knowledge on current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development
- Sound knowledge of econometrics and social/ statistical analysis of large data
- Knowledge about GIS & heat map
- Knowledge of data management and data presentation
- Knowledge of software applications and tools for data management
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills and possess a proven track record of working successfully in a variety of cultural contexts
