  Position  

Programme Manager, Livelihood and Skills Development-GBV; (Contractual), HCMP

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Plan, Implement and oversee BRAC-UNW joint project on women’s livelihood opportunity, skills development and market linkage in selected Host Community and Rohingya camps
  • Liaise, cooperate and partnerships with relevant Government institutions, LGI’s representatives, local business association/ institutions for achieving program targets
  • Maintain regular communication with GBV sub sector for represent BRAC’s interventions and share experiences
  • Conduct regular community consultations with all groups of refugee and host community to ensure feedback on pre and post services delivery
  • Manage budget and tracking on time expenses and maximum uses of resources according to plan
  • Plan a monitoring framework and ensure an effective follow up of program gaps and progress
  • Integrate gender-mainstreaming principles throughout all project activities and project participants
  • Ensure on time staff recruitment, capacity development and team building of multidisciplinary team members and volunteers
  • Train team members on protection principles, SGBV principles, project operations/ services and sensitivity to the people with special needs
  • Develop proposals, budgets, result frameworks for the project implementation
  • Prepare periodic reports (narrative and quantitative) for donors and Government
  • Prepare technical specifications, SOP, guidelines, questionnaire and tools as needed
  • Attend visitor from inside and outside BRAC as suggested
  • Ensure on-time construction and maintenance of planned multi-purpose women centres in selected Host
  • Community and Rohingya camps
  • Maintain regular communication with probable donor for creating further funding opportunities
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in any discipline from any Government recognised University/ Institute with minimum 2nd division or equivalent CGPA

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum ten years of experience in relevant field

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise of project planning and implementation
  • Sound knowledge of women’s livelihood, skills development and GBV in emergency context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and able to participate actively in meetings and in work related discussions
  • Very good skills in team management and problem solving
  • Working proficiency on MS Office, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  Salary and benefits
