Position: Head of Franchise Business Development (Shwapno Express)

Job Summary: Responsible to Lead the Franchise module of the Largest Retail Store of the Country independently to attain market leadership conforming the Organization’s mission and vision.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

  • Lead the franchise development/ expansion process right from planning to execution..
  • Responsible for Leading the Franchise module of Shwapno (Shwapno Express) to achieve the expansion plan.
  • Direct and oversee space acquisitions/ Showroom hunting, leasing and site locations required to set up Supershop branches and to negotiate with the potential investors/ Site Owners accordingly.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the space owner, investors, Govt. regulatory authorities and the Management.
  • Supervision of Preparing and submitting of applications and agreements to the landlord/ Investor.
  • Analyze, prepare and submit the report regarding the prospect of establishing supershop in the identified areas.
  • Oversee marketing and sales operations for achieving increased growth & profitability.
  • Utilize the public information and personal network to develop marketing intelligence to establish new outlets and to take over market leadership.
  • Build and maintain healthy business relations with the Stakeholders.
  • Liaison with regulatory Authorities whenever and wherever required.
  • Build instant communication of schemes and promotions with stakeholders by organizing Franchise events and participating in Franchisee Campaigns, as well as introducing creative and innovative consumer engagements.
  • Provide necessary facilities, trainings, feedbacks and product guidelines to the Sales Force/ Site Acquisition Team.
  • Conducting regular coordination with the Audit team to ensure financial compliances are enforced and Sock Gaps are minimized.
  • Monitor and Supervising transactions of sale.
  • Manage MIS based reports and schedule meeting with existing stakeholders and aware them about new programs and activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with the Site Acquisition/ Showroom Development/ Business Expansion/ Channel Expansion Department of Renowned Brand (Supershop/Plastic Products/Electronics shop/Restaurant chain/ FMCG Industry etc.)
  • Should be enthusiastic in extensive travelling throughout the territory.
  • Must have strong analytical skill.
  • Minimum Graduate preferably with Business Background with good academic results from UGC approved public/private University.
  • Excellent communication Skills in Bengali & English.
