Assistant Engineer |
Job Responsibility |
- SMEP representative – Focal point
for SMEP related coordination across areas of responsibility,
specifically with the Union Parishad, Upazila, LGED, Camp in Charge
(CiC) and Site Management Support agency (SMS)
- Plan, Monitor and Report- Develop weekly and monthly project activity plans,
monitor the progress and report against the achievements
- Supervision- Supervise the assigned host community FOBs
- Coordination – In collaboration with LGED, SMEP Engineers; design work plans to
direct teams
- Technical – Survey incidents, develop options, designs, bills of quantities and where appropriate a safe method of work for interventions
- Team Capacity Development – motivate and develop teams members to perform
tasks assigned and development
- Quality control – Monitoring and evaluation of projects using the prescribed system (Kobo)
- Liaison with key stakeholders- inform, communicate, and maintain good Public
relation with key stakeholders
- Work with LGED- Jointly plan, review, communicate, and exchange information with LGED
- Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor

Educational and Experience Requirement |
- Basic Degree Civil Engineering Degree- 1 year experience
- Civil engineering Diploma, with least 3 years’ experience in relevant field
- Previous experience in international organization/national organization/ private contractors is an advantage
- Previous work experience with Rohingya Community
