Position |
|
Junior Sector Specialist, Agriculture; HCMP (Contractual)
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure survey for selection of the project
beneficiaries’ and other project related data and information using
prescribed format developed by project
- Facilitate and conduct training for the project
beneficiaries and ensure agro-inputs reached to the beneficiaries for
proper and successful implementation
- Provide technical advice and support to Technical
Assistant/ Program Organizer by field visit and follow-up of the
activities regularly for effective implementation of the project
activities
- Ensure financial data are properly and timely recorded for the specific activity against the specific accounts code
- Follow up and cross checking of daily and monthly reports, observation reports, expenditure reports

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Agriculture or any relevant
subject from any government recognized University/ Institute with
minimum 2nd division or equivalent CGPA. Candidates having professional
degree are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Agriculture Sector.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
- Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
- Have effective acquaintance with people management, data entry management
- Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
- Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
- Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications, Advanced Excel
- Excellent language skills both English and Bengali

Salary Range: Negotiable
