  Position  

Position: Manager, Popular Theatre Marketing, Community Empowerment Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing strategy, business plan, financial performance and expenditure plan
  • Develop comprehensive annual marketing plans and execute sales and marketing accordingly
  • Formation of Popular Theatre club and enhance their capacity on cultural activities
  • Set annual sales target and achieve accordingly
  • Prepare monthly/ periodic report on profit-loss, sales growth, receipt and expenditure statement, operational progress and submit to the senior management
  • Enhance capacity of respective staff for promotion of Popular Theatre business
  • Regular field visit, organise and conduct meetings, discussions with potential client, organisation leadership, development partners, donors and relevant stakeholders
  • Generate market intelligence through proper tracking of sales record - be the expert on our clients, who are they, their buying behaviour, and their key buying criteria
  • Identify target markets and explore ways of service product sales and increase profitability
  • Analyse the market and identify potential areas where Popular Theatre will be able to ensure its market presence for social business
  • Innovate constantly to sustain the sales and its growth
  • Draft partnership agreements with corporate/ business/ GO-NGO clients to promote Popular Theatre
  • Ensure proper and regular coordination with the leads of programme components of CEP at Head Office and field level
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in Marketing/ Business/ Development Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of working experience in the field of service marketing in the development sector. Experience in the sales of folk drama shows/ popular media events is preferred

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Have functional experience in service product development and marketing
  • Have managerial experience of at least 2 years
  • Have good understanding on product develop, marketing policy, promotion of product wide range of marketing, cultural event, business content in Bangladesh and group formation
  • Good analytical ability, time management, communication, presentation, report writing, budget, logical framework, accounts audit and procurement
  • Have proficiency on MS Word (Windows), Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Excellent team player and building relationship

Age Range: Maximum 40 years
