Position |
|
M&E Specialist, DRR (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Project
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures
- Participate in project review sessions and assist Project Manager in preparing relevant reports
- Lead the implementation of data quality controls and daily data quality assessments to ensure the integrity of project data
- Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system and recommend further improvement
- Monitor all project and field activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output
- Monitor the Cash Distribution payment process
- Assist Project Manager in the preparation of reports in the findings and lessons learned from the project
- Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project
- Prepare and provide written report on weekly bases the progress on all project activities to Project Manager
- Prepare the Monthly Cash Distribution Report (MCDR)
- Prepare monthly monitoring and MIS reports
- Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log report of the project

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Social Science/ Statistics or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institute
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience is required
Additional Job Requirements:
- Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
- Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
- Have effective acquaintance with people management, data entry management
- Good understanding and command in labor law and compliance issues
- Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
- Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation
- Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications and Advanced Excel
- Excellent language skills both English and Bengali
