Position |
|
Senior Manager, Fundraising (Contractual), Human Rights and Legal Aid Services (HRLS) Programme

Job Description/ Responsibilities:
- Develop fund raising strategy for HRLS programme
and RMG projects and continuously improve the effectiveness of
existing fundraising operations by developing existing and new
fundraising products, initiatives and events
- Develop concept note and project proposal independently and participate in the bidding process for fund raising as per needs.
- Manage programme development process through closely working with HRLS and RMG team and different entities of BRAC
- Coordinate project design process, including
overall project management, team formation and interaction,
appropriate workshop and meetings, with external or senior level support
as required
- Identification and acquisition of grants and donations from government departments, individual donors and the corporate sector
- In partnership with partnerships team of PRL
follow up on key external partners (donors, foundations, private
sectors, and academia) to explore new programming opportunities
- Support global and regional efforts to develop programmatic, fundraising, communications and other strategies as needed
- Identifying opportunities for improved
collaboration and system improvement supporting better project
development, proposal development, and grants management
- Support senior leadership’s decision-making
process in identifying the high leveraging partnership opportunities
and forecasting significant trends
- Support in building leadership and management
capacity in team members, support them to improve their programme
design and writing skills
- Support programme to conduct and initiate HRLS
related studies for programme development, identify the potential
gaps, and optimum utilization of resources through enriching existing
intervention
- Represent BRAC and HRLS at various internal and external forums, when required

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor/ Master degree in from any reputed
University with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in
academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or equivalent CGPA is
acceptable
Experience Requirement:
- At least 5 years in development or related field;
ideally would have experience working in fundraising/ grant writing,
programme management, resource mobilization, research and knowledge
management function, manage external relationships and event
management
Additional Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of log frame and M&E framework development
- Relationship management (internal and external)
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Critical thinking and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across a number of sectors, developing new domain knowledge
- Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
- Resourceful in finding opportunities
