  Position  

Position: Deputy Manager, Counseling

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop a counseling plan for returnee migrants for DRSC
  • Provide/facilitate DRSC & RSC base counselors to carryout counseling at doorstep
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly counseling report through DRSC
  • Develop a compilation report on counseling for HO team as well as donors
  • Refer migrant workers for trauma counseling and others support
  • In addition, assist head office team for field operation smoothly
  • Coordinate case management desk and ensure support to returnee migrants at air port / information center etc
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Master in Psychology, Social Welfare/ Social Work, Advanced counseling course or relevant subjects with minimum 2nd division/ class in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 02 years’ experience in counseling and training facilitation and have orientation on development context/ NGO intervention at community level of Bangladesh

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Counseling and emergency supports - Case Management - Training facilitation and management - Communications skills - Database, case story and report writing skill etc
