  Position  

Position: Information Management Officer, Site Management (Contractual); HCMP

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Work with camp actors and camp communities to promote and implement routine camp maintenance, considering distribution point as well
  • Monitor safety risk (infrastructure of the camp) and address them to the competent agency
  • Design and implement service provision based on Protection mainstreaming and mitigation of Gender Based Violence (GBV) risks
  • Undertake site risk reduction procedure and maintenance to maximize healthy and safety environment of camp residents.
  • Ensure coordination with UNHCR Field Unit focal point to support in relocation
  • Ensure survey committees
  • Support refugees to maintain, repair, modify and improve their shelters, through materials, construction teams, trainings
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Development studies/ Disaster Management/ Sociology or any other relevant subject from recognised university/ institute

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field in any NGO/ INGO is required

  • Commitment to the understanding of BRAC core values and principles
  • Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Have effective acquaintance with people management and data entry management
  • Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
  • Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation
  • Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications
  • Excellent language skills both English and Chittagonian
