  Position  

Position: Technical Assistant, Agriculture (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct survey for selection of the project beneficiaries’ using prescribed format developed by programme
  • Facilitate and conduct training for the project beneficiaries and ensure availability of agro-inputs to the beneficiaries
  • Provide technical advice and follow up to the beneficiaries of the vegetable cultivation and poultry rearing.
  • Ensure project related financial support to the beneficiaries and kept related data update
  • Ensure proper financial record for various activities against the specific accounts code
  • Provide support to prepare report through ensuring related data
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma in Agriculture/ Livestock from any recognised university/ institute

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in agricultural sector will get preference

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Commitment to understand the BRAC core values and principles
  • Have excellent reporting skill
  • Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
  • Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation
  • Have excellent knowledge in Office Applications
  • Excellent language skills both in English and Bengali
  Salary and benefits  

Salary Range: Negotiable
