Position |
|
Position: Programme Manager, Social Cohesion & Women Empowerment (Contractual); HCMP
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and establish rapport with CEP-HOST,
other programmes of HCMP, Saferworld, and relevant officials of
government institutions, representatives of local government
institutions, and local elites for achieving project targets
- Lead and manage team to meet project targets are achieved timely paired with quality results.
- Ensure coordination with the mapping initiatives, arrangement of workshop, and thematic analysis of the project
- Ensure development and sharing of lessons
learnt/best practices for gender-transformative and survivor-sensitive
GBV/PSS services
- Participate in designing a monitoring framework for the project to make sure of effective progress and to minimize the gaps
- Ensure effective & efficient planning and
budgeting of the project and accordingly effective implementation at the
field levels
- Prepare monthly work plan based on project detailed implementation plan and submit it to the Programme
- Head through the Lead - Protection for approval
- Prepare monthly/quarterly progress report with qualitative and quantitative information for the Steering
- Committee and senior management of the project
- Supervise Area Managers for host communities
deployed under the project and review the implementation process through
gender- and conflict-sensitive lens
- Ensure Capacity development of humanitarian and development actors in camps on conflict-sensitive and women empowerment

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in social science, development studies,
peace and conflict studies, and governance studies or any other relevant
subject from any recognised university/ institutions
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of
Protection, GBV, Women Empowerment & Development in any NGO/ INGO/
UN agencies is required
Additional Job Requirements:
- Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
- Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
- Have effective acquaintance with people management, and donor management
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of local communities and customary rules
- Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills
- Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
- Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work
