Position |
|
Position: Lead, Protection (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation and monitoring of SGBV, CBP, Legal Protection & Protection Monitoring activities
- Ensure effective strategic planning and overall management including HR, Budget and operations
- Maintain a good coordination with different stakeholders, and contribute in networking
- Maintain regular communication with partners/ donors
for implementing high standard program activities and advocacy with the
relevant stakeholders
- Participate and contribute in Protection Task Team,
Protection working group, PSEA, GBV Sub sector and GBV IMS groups and
update organization contribution
- Prepare technical specifications, Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) and Guidelines for program/sector
- Prepare reports for Head Office, Donors, Government and UN agencies and internal stakeholders on regular basis
- Ensure quality of Program implementation and establish and maintain a strong accountability mechanism
- Manage budget expenses on time for ensuring effective budget management

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in law/ psychology/ social work or any
other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institution.
Candidates having PhD in relevant subject are highly encouraged to apply
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Protection, GBV in refugee settings of any INGO or UN agencies is required
Additional Job Requirements:
- Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
- Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
- Have effective acquaintance with people management, and donor management
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of local communities and customary rules
- Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills
- Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
- Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work
