  Position  

Position: Lead, Protection (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation and monitoring of SGBV, CBP, Legal Protection & Protection Monitoring activities
  • Ensure effective strategic planning and overall management including HR, Budget and operations
  • Maintain a good coordination with different stakeholders, and contribute in networking
  • Maintain regular communication with partners/ donors for implementing high standard program activities and advocacy with the relevant stakeholders
  • Participate and contribute in Protection Task Team, Protection working group, PSEA, GBV Sub sector and GBV IMS groups and update organization contribution
  • Prepare technical specifications, Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) and Guidelines for program/sector
  • Prepare reports for Head Office, Donors, Government and UN agencies and internal stakeholders on regular basis
  • Ensure quality of Program implementation and establish and maintain a strong accountability mechanism
  • Manage budget expenses on time for ensuring effective budget management
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in law/ psychology/ social work or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institution. Candidates having PhD in relevant subject are highly encouraged to apply

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Protection, GBV in refugee settings of any INGO or UN agencies is required

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
  • Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Have effective acquaintance with people management, and donor management
  • Have excellent knowledge and understanding of local communities and customary rules
  • Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills
  • Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
  • Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work
  Salary and benefits
