Position |
|
Position: Deputy Manager, Security Inspection
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Inspect BRAC establishments to verify the security
status, conduct security survey & audits and recommend appropriate
measures
- Formulate and implement effective strategy and action plan to ensure security of BRAC people and assets
- Formulate and implement effective monitoring mechanism of security measures at BRAC establishments
- Report site specific and overall security status
of the organization to the supervisor and the director in charge of
security on periodical and as and when necessary basis
- Coordinate with BRAC offices including field offices on security issues
- To ensure proper implementation of security and safety SOPs and protocols of BRAC establishments
- Visit BRAC establishments on regular basis to inspect security and safety measures being to be followed
- Maintain professional relation with government law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain relationship and liaison with government and non-government organization for the purpose of safety and security.
- Gather advance information regarding political and social situation which affects day-to-day activities of BRAC.
- Organise training and other awareness sessions on security and safety
- Take effective measures to build a culture of security and safety throughout the organisation
- Be in continuous touch with security and safety
focal persons of field offices, monitor their security and provide
necessary assistance and support
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm,
abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s
goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support,
guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe
working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of
safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation
of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
- Any other responsibility as determined by the supervisor and the director in terms of security and safety.

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor/Masters in any discipline from any
recognised University with minimum second class in all exams/CGPA 2.5
and above or equivalent. Applicants having Social
Science/Criminology/Business/Law background will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience is preferable. Experience about investigation,
handling criminal and security incidents and liaison with other organizations
particularly security and intelligence agencies.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Institutional training course in security inspections and security audit
will be given preference.
