Position: Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (Contractual), Climate Bridge Trust Fund

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Strengthen M&E systems to ensure proper monitoring and supervision for the smooth implementation of the project activities
  
• Communicate issues clearly with the grantee and make sure they are in the grant agreement
  
• Ensure monitoring & supervision according to the monitoring & evaluation plan
  
• Provide technical assistance or training on monitoring & evaluation and reporting
  
• Inspect the actual financial books and records of the grantee
  
• Visit the project sites for the purpose of monitoring & evaluation
  
• Provide guidance through regular monitoring & supervision, analyse the target vs. achievement scenario and resource mobilisation
  
• To track and support to meet all condition precedents and special terms and conditions of the project
  
• Financial monitoring of all implementing partners quarterly by using a specific checklist and provide feedback for immediate remedies
  
• Prepare formal report and send to respective implementing partners for corrective actions

Educational Requirements:

• Masters in social science/ business and finance/ environment science/ international development or any other relevant subjects from any recognised university/ institution

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience is required. Candidates having experience on M&E in the field of climate change and disaster risk reduction will be preferred

Additional Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated skills in monitoring framework and policy development,
  indicators setting, log frame preparation and interpretation
  
• Excellent presentation skill with sound knowledge on relevant reporting system
  
• Strong managerial skill with excellent written and oral communication both in
  English and Bangla
  
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, SPSS and other monitoring
  and evaluation tools and software

Salary Range: Negotiable
