  Position  

Position: Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and contribute to M&E and result frameworks of sectoral programmes, departments and enterprises in BRAC
  • Coordinate and communicate in all aspects of gender equality result monitoring and tracking across BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises
  • Provide regular guidance to sectoral programmes, departments and enterprises in BRAC to implement the M&E frameworks in favour of monitoring gender results
  • Carry out advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis and deliver quality and timely production of M&E information products, reports for BRAC and in line with field visits and requirements 
  • Share and disseminate the M&E information/ findings/ gender equality results with various programmes, departments and enterprises in BRAC 
  • Conduct baseline, midline and end-line survey and assessment of the programmes, departments, enterprises on agreed gender equality interventions 
  • Support technical and strategic assistance on tracking results of different innovation projects on BRAC’s gender work 
  • Lead development of quality assurance systems for the project to ensure data quality 
  • Ensure appropriate data collection tools and systems are in place and are being used correctly by staff to collect required and accurate data for performance, monitoring and evaluation 
  • Supervise and mentor a team of M&E professionals and assist mentoring of other technical staff in shared management to carry out field level monitoring activities of BRAC gender equality interventions 
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures. Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in Statistics, Economics or Social Science from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.00 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working experience in the related field

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Having conceptual knowledge on gender, programme management and quantitative research methodologies 
  • Able to deal with large dataset and relevant statistical software (such as SPSS) to analyse and generate scientific data 
  • Practical experiences in the areas of monitoring and evaluation in gender and development projects 
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports 
  • Very good understanding of the gender and development context in Bangladesh 
  • Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software 
  • Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality reports and articles 
  • Excellent team player and building relationships

Salary Range: Negotiable
